Community Enterprises of St. Clair County envisions a community that includes persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities as citizens.
Its mission is to facilitate opportunities for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live and work in the community and to support them as they become more included, productive, self-sufficient,connected with others, and experience self fulfillment.
Community Enterprises of St. Clair County was formed in October of 2011 by The Arc of St. Clair County as a new private, non-profit organization to assume responsibility for and operation of programs that serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs are designed to help individuals in their quest to live, work, and be included with others in all aspects and places of community life.
The dedicated staff at Community Enterprises believe in Programs offered by Community Enterprises and strive for one or several of the following goals: 1) Community Inclusion, 2) Increased productivity, 3) greater self-reliance, 4) economic self-sufficiency, and 5) growth in one's self-esteem.
We are excited that they will return this year!
