Diana's Fused Glass Jewelry will be joining Art on the River for the first time this year. Diana has been a fused glass artist for about 7 years. Her one-of-a-kind jewelry is popular with art show attendees all over the state. It is designed and personally hand crafted by Diana in her studio located in Western Michigan near Fremont. The glass is hand cut, shaped, and fused in kilns at temperatures exceeding 1400 degrees F. Each piece is then annealed to add strength to the glass to prevent breakage if dropped. The finished piece is typically three layers of glass fused with special heating and cooling techniques. This makes the piece very unique in color and pattern; therefore no two pieces are exactly the same. She caps each piece with a process that adds an appearance of depth and gloss. All her silver is hypoallergenic. She uses a high quality of sterling and plated silver, most of which are imported from Italy. These pieces are trendy and super cool for fashionable wear!
Art on the River is a celebration of art, music and life. The Blue Water Area's premiere art and music festival!
